Seasons in Walnut Creek: Year-round resident

The fishing spider is not dangerous to humans; it is only thought so because of its large and intimidating appearance due to its likeness with the wolf spider. These spiders are commonly found near any body of water in North Carolina. They are very intelligent and cunning arachnids when it comes to catching prey.
