At Exploris, our school counseling program is designed to improve student achievement and enhances the academic, career and personal/social development of all students. Our school counselor collaborates with parents, teachers, directors, school staff, and community partners to promote student success. Our school counselor also provides leadership and advocacy to promote equity and access to opportunities and rigorous educational experiences for all students.

Communities in Schools of Wake County 

Communities in Schools of Wake County (www.ciswake.org) has partnered with the Wake County Public School System (WCPSS) for more than two decades to serve students. Our vision is to help schools remove the barriers that put students at risk of wasting their potential. Our mission is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. Communities in Schools have partnered with The Exploris School by providing various programmings such as backpack buddies, annual school supplies, and use of the Chavis Learning Center.
